Mixing Services audio engineer studio

From a one-off single to a full album, any project size can be catered for. Mixed using Avid's Pro Tools 12 and utilising a suite of professional quality plug-in processors from the world's greatest manufacturers, the final quality of your mix is always of an exceptional standard.
Each project undertaken is treated on it's own merits, there are no templates or "paint by numbers" philosophies allowed here. Before any project commences, a detailed brief will be discussed and a clear understanding of the desired end-result established.
As each mix takes shape, copies of the "mix-in-progress" will be sent, feedback and mix comments are encouraged as this is your mix, not mine. Once the project has been completed, a final 16bit, 44.1KHz wav file(s) will be supplied with accompanying mp3(s). A compressed/limited "loud" version may also be requested should the project be destined for immediate broadcast/distribution, i.e un-mastered.

A professional mastering service is available for those wishing to release their material commercialy. Far from just making the track/album loud, mastering is the crucial final process in obtaining a professional and polished product.
But what is mastering and do you need it? Think about it this way; the tracking engineer focuses his attention on capturing each instrument as well as it can be captured, choosing the right microphone(s), placing it/them at the right distance and at the right angle. The mix engineer focuses on processing each instrument so that they all work together, creates anbiance, movement, energy and excitement so that each song sounds as good as it can from its component parts. The mastering engineer focuses on each song, adding a final layer of processing to enhance what's already there and in the case of an ep or album, makes sure that every song has a similar sound and vibe. And yes, the mastering engineer can make it loud if that's what you want!
Using state of the art processing from the likes of Universal Audio, Softube, Fabfilter and Sonnox, the qualities of the mix will be enhanced, the overall tone shaped and the dynamics controlled to produce a radio ready/streaming ready master.

So, you've got a track (or album) recorded but the drums just sound awful, nothing says "amature" quite like poorly tracked drums! There's no shame in this, tracking drums to a professional standard is by far the most challenging part of making any recording. Why do you think that drum replacement is so common place in the industry these days?
A seperate drum replacement service is available for such cases. Using Toontrack's industry standard (and quite frankly, awesome) Superior Drummer 3, even the most deficient drum recordings can be transformed into professional quality. Don't believe me? Have a listen to this before and after;
